Scott Couture was our architect on our project in Sausalito, CA, remodeling a 50 year old house. which he transformed into a modern, cutting edge design that is very livable and functional. He has the ability to see space as no one else can and render his vision with alacrity, professionalism, wonderful contractors and timely production. 1500 square foot remodel of main level with kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom and study. Took a 3-story high end redwood country house from 1980 and did a sophisticated, ultra-modern remodel. Scott pushed creativity far beyond what I had originally imagined. He is one step above a modern architect. The lines are sleek and moves smoothly from one room to the next. He was a pleasure to work with. Honest with his assessments. I feel very strongly about the wonderful work Scott provided when he worked on our renovation project. Quickly he figured out what my wife and I were looking for and often the process moved quicker than I would have ever imagined as he seemed to be reading our minds on choices ranging from color of bathroom tiles to styles of fencing. Scott is rightly very proud of his work and his deliberate work style and detail to attention make him unique- but most important - he is very talented and humble (and charming!) Scott would often check back with us once the project was complete and to this day we consider him a friend and will most definitely use him on future projects.
